Running
I run. I have for about half my life. I was a sprinter all through middle school, high school and my freshman year of college. I love running FAST. As time goes on, I have become more of a distance runner. I love it. I feel so good during and after. I have often felt that running is a form of worship. And when you run that you are showing your gratitude for the body God has given you. Jeffrey R. Holland once called the body, "the great prize of mortal life." I couldn't agree more.
My times weren't mind-blowing, but I held my own and loved it. I still get beat by fast girls in 5Ks, but I love it anyway.

Here's a video of the last big race I ran. 200 miles along the California coast. Ragnar. 12 runners 36 exchanges. Not much sleep. Maybe one shower. About 30 hours. Super fun. I would recommend Ragnar to anyone up for an adventure! I recently found out that I am actually related to the Viking king named Ragnar. He was crazy and adventurous! Everyone should find the Ragnar inside of them, even if they don't run 200 miles to do it.

Acappella
I have been in three acappella groups since I started to love singing. I do Vocal Percussion and I sing Tenor. I just love harmonizing with other amazing people. Below are a few of the songs from some of the groups that I have been in. The current group is called The Advocates and we are a mix of former Vocal Point members and other great and very talented friends.

Cello
This is a new one, but one I am really excited about. I have always wanted to do this and now I am finally starting. I love the sound of this beautiful instrument and I can't wait until I can actually make a song come out of it. Little by little. I love dedication to good things. I am dedicating myself to this good thing for the rest of my life. I want music to be a huge part of my home and I must be the example of this.
For now I have named her Penelope, after Odysseus' wife. He strove for 20 years to make it back to her. So the first song I write for the cello (possibly it will take me 20 years to get to that point), my first song must be entitled "Telemachus". Those of you who have read the Odyssey will understand what I mean.
I am striving to become a well-rounded and educated individual. I just feel like my new cello fits this perfectly, and it gives me something to be excited about when all else may fail to do so.

The Great Outdoors
I love it out there. Here are a few of my adventures. I love to hike. I especially love a challenge. Mt. Sinai, Mt. Timpanogos, Angel's Landing, The Narrows, Etc. I also love water and snow skiing.
